Cintia Andrade de Menezes, Resident Care Director for Assisted Living and Mind and Memory Care at The Commons, says her goal is to be available to residents and families whenever she is needed.

She walks through the community regularly to personally check in on residents in both neighborhoods. When she’s not doing that, she can be found in her office on the second floor near the gym.

“Families and residents know where to find me,” she says, “My door is always open!”

Cintia has Associate’s Degrees in Nursing and Liberal Arts & Sciences. She is a Registered Nurse. Since coming to The Commons in 2020, she rose from Care Nurse Supervisor to Assistant Resident Care Director to her current position.

As Resident Care Director, her responsibilities include assessing resident prospects, developing individualized care plans and managing the operations of the resident care department.

“I have always enjoyed working with the geriatric population because I can make a difference in their lives,” she says. “I enjoy developing a relationship with each one and being able to care for and support them. It’s a fulfilling job.”

When she’s not at work, Cintia loves to spend time with her family and can often be found at a soccer field or basketball court.
