Aimee Lahtinen, RN

Role and Responsibilities​

Director of Nursing Aimee Lahtinen is responsible for overseeing the hiring, training and management of our community care team. She also serve as a liaison with physicians, family members, community agencies and outside care providers.

Industry Expertise

Aimee began her nursing career 24 years ago as an LPN. After just three years as a staff nurse in a Skilled Nursing facility, she was promoted her to Unit Manager. She has since excelled in this role for 21 years, with The Commons benefiting from her expertise as Unit Manager/Assistant Director of Nursing for the past 8 years.

Milestones

Aimee has earned her RN and recently completed a rigorous course to obtain her wound certification, further enhancing her skills and expertise. This certification is a testament to her ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality care to residents at The Commons.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Aimee enjoys the peace and harmony of Western Massachusetts living, loves the outdoors, walks in the woods, the lake, fishing and hunting. She is an avid golfer and treasures her time with her family, including her husband, Randy, her children and grandchildren.
